You have a unique connection to IPS. Tell us how it led to your new role with the company.
“I’ve known IPS as a competitor for more than a dozen years. I was well aware of how much they are respected in the industry and their solid brand and reputation in the market. In fact, I shared clients with IPS that didn’t fit my client profile in previous roles. Recently, when I was seeking a new opportunity, I called John Feaman and good timing led to me coming on board as VP of Sales & Marketing.”
What qualities or special skills do you bring to the job that will benefit IPS sales & marketing?
“I would say my 20 years of experience in the payroll industry. It’s a big positive for us to know competitively who is out there, where we stand, and what’s changing in the marketplace. Historically, the payroll industry has remained static, but in the past five years or so, it has drastically changed to focus more on HR, managing employees, and attracting and retaining talent. IPS offers more services than ever. I’m excited to help them grow.”
How do you spend your time when you’re not working?
“I’m involved in the community, so being with a company like IPS that values local relationships fits my background. I have three children ages 13, 14, and 18, so I coach youth sports, (baseball, basketball and football). I serve on the Boards of the Oconomowoc YMCA, Oconomowoc Youth Basketball and Oconomowoc Five O’s Baseball.”
