Sarah Feaman, IPS payroll specialist, recently celebrated her 2nd anniversary with the company. Always a good sport, Sarah recently reflected upon her first few years with IPS.
So, with two years under your belt as a payroll specialist at IPS, tell us what you enjoy most about working here?
I love working with such an amazing team. We are a very close-knit group and we look forward to seeing each other every day.
What is your proudest professional achievement/accomplishment on the job so far?
I am proud of the strong relationships I establish with my clients. Whether it’s going to networking events with clients, being that familiar face or voice they can rely on when they need answers, discussing their grandchildren or family wedding plans, or how new pets are adjusting at home. I like to make my clients feel that I am more than just a voice on the other end of the line and someone who truly cares about them.
How do you like to start and end your day at IPS?
The first thing I do every morning is start the coffee and turn on the “Welcome to IPS” sign – you have to start the morning off right. At the end of every day, I chat with our SpeeDee Driver, Steve, and send off our payroll packages to waiting clients.
When you’re not working, word is that you’re an avid traveler with a goal of visiting all 50 states. What’s your count up to now? Any recent trips planned or taken this summer, and where?
So far this summer, I traveled to our cabin in northern Wisconsin. However, in late August I’ll be getting married and taking a trip to Hawaii! The honeymoon will put me at 22 states crossed off my list.
